In the fifth conference of Bahman Ferdowsi Music and Song Association, which was held on the 7th of October 1993, on the occasion of Rumi's memorial, Najmeh Jafari performed pieces composed by Faramarz Payvar on the Mahour instrument and was praised by the audience. The opinion of the professors present in all fields, unanimously, Najmeh Jafari was selected as the top musician of this conference and was remembered by Professor Akbar Ghaderi, Javad Lashkari and Ghodratullah Entezami.
In this regard, Bahman Ferdowsi, the founder of the Ferdowsi Music Association, sent the following message to Najmeh Jafari:
